In light of a cancelled tour, Uniform & The Body release collaborative album, Live at the End of the World

This spring, Brooklyn noise rock duo Uniform and Rhode Island experimental metal band The Body planned to bring their latest collaboration, Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back, to life with a string of North American tour dates. But, after only a handful of shows, the supergroup was forced to cancel the remainder of their tour given the nationwide outbreak of COVID-19.

In light of this unforeseen setback, Uniform & The Body have released a new collaborative live album on Bandcamp titled Live at the End of the World. The release is timed with Bandcamp’s decision to waive all of its sales fees today (March 20) to benefit artists who are economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recorded March 6 at Zebulon in LA, the album consists of songs from their most recent record as well as 2017’s excellent Mental Wounds Not Healing, and features two covers, one of Dicks’ classic punk tune “Hate the Police” and the other of Electric Eels’ “Agitated.”

The live version of the song “Penance” is also included on Sacred Bones’ new compilation, I Fall in Love With the Light, which benefits the label’s artists whose tours were cancelled.
